Married to Bobbie Rideout for 48 years

Children are Amanda Chandler and Jeffrey S. Winter

They have been the owners of many Golden Retrievers with Callie being with them for 11 years along with their Grand Dog Otis, who is 16 years old.

Steve was born in Washington, D.C. and lived in Bethesda Maryland until he went to college at Washington and Lee University in Lexington, VA where he also attended Law School. Upon completion of Law School he returned to Alexandria, VA where he lived until he and Bobbie moved to Cambridge full time in 2010.

He was a Law Clerk for the Hon. George L. Hart, Jr. of the U.S, District Court for the District of Columbia.
